Attitash excels in providing you the opportunity to ride, slide, climb, jump, pedal, and grind. The 80-passenger aerial tramway whisks you above timberline to the 4,200-foot summit for outstanding views of the White Mountains and into Maine, Vermont and even Canada. Take as little as an hour or as long as a day to enjoy summit walking paths, an observation deck, cafeterias, swimming at Echo Lake, boat rentals, a free eight-mile recreation path, “Old Man of the Mountain” Museum, and the New England Ski Museum.

The “Valley Train” offers departures to Conway and Bartlett, while the “Notch Train” carries passengers through spectacular Crawford Notch and past the finest natural scenery in the entire Northeast. On the “Valley Train” choose Coach, First Class or experience the fun of railroad dining aboard the Dining Car “Chocorua” (reservations suggested). The “Notch Train” offers Coach, First-Class and Dome seating (reservations suggested).

The Flume Gorge offers a 2-mile self-guided spectacular walk through a natural chasm, over covered bridges and past waterfalls, a scenic pool and mountain views. A new free 20-minute movie in high definition on Franconia Notch State Park. Information center, cafeteria, gift shop and interpretive exhibits. Kids crawl through and explore the Wolf’s Den and Bear’s Cave!

All aboard for a 15-mile, 1 hr. & 20 min. roundtrip train excursion in a picturesque, woodsy setting along the Pemigewasset River in restored vintage coaches. Hobo picnic lunches & ice cream are available. The Station Gift Shop opens at 10am in season. Weekend departures Memorial Day–mid-June. Daily departures late June–fall foliage.
